🏴 SCOTLAND! (Tentative Schedule)
Travel Itinerary Below:
****Be prepared for a fair amount of walking during this tour. You don't need top physical performance, but should be able to walk an average of 4-6 miles per day. We will be doing some mild nature walks on the Isle of Skye, so be physically prepared for that as well. Have good walking shoes that are broken in with good grip. I will send out some recommendations on this in the packing list.

Helpful info for traveling to Scotland:
-
Purchase a UK outlet converter to charge phones & computers. These generally aren't compatible with higher voltage things like hair dryers or flat irons. All our Air BnB will have access to hair dryers to use & Jenny has a UK flat iron she is bringing.

The UK now requires all US citizens traveling to the UK to apply for Travel Authorization before we can enter the country. It takes about 72 hours to get the approval. Once approved, it is good for 2 years. We will all need to do this and can be completed within 6 months before travel. Here is the website to apply: https://homeofficemedia.blog.gov.uk/electronic-travel-authorisation-eta-factsheet-january-2025/

You can have cell services in Scotland. Most major carriers like Verizon or AT&T provide cell service for $10 per day. You just have to set it up with your carrier before your trip. This is super-helpful when you are with a group and need to meet up if we split up in a certain location. It takes a lot of the stress out of traveling when you have access to just call the people you are traveling with.
